was built on our engineering skills and knowledge of
the specialist marketplace. We purchase excess and redundant
equipment, reducing the total cost of ownership.
Environmental
Considerations
The
clearance of redundant IT and telecoms equipment now
has to take account of environmental and waste disposal
regulations, including the Waste Electrical and Environmental
(WEEE) Directive. Kanoo's service is also environmentally
friendly as we aim to maximise the lifetime of the equipment
by refurbishing it.
Data
Security
The
disposal of IT raises security and privacy concerns;
as part of Kanoo's standard in-house engineering process
all PC and server hard drives are given a courtesy wipe
to remove data. For any hard drives containing sensitive
